71st Southampton Closed Tournament 2010

Will be held at:
WATERSIDE TABLE TENNIS CENTRE, TESTWOOD LANE, TOTTON, SOUTHAMPTON.
Adults Sunday 11th April 2010 
Juniors Sunday 18th April 2010,
Commencing at 9:00am

Finals Night and Presentation Evening will be at:
WATERSIDE TABLE TENNIS CENTRE, TESTWOOD LANE, TOTTON, SOUTHAMPTON.
Tuesday 20th April 2010 at 7:00pm

REGULATIONS
The tournament is open, free of charge, to all current S.T.T.A registered players, who have played at least 7 matches in the current season. Junior / Cadet players who are not registered with the STTA or who have not played 7 matches may be accepted, at the discretion of the committee, into the junior / cadet events if full members of an affiliated Club. Non registered juniors must pay an entry fee of £2.
Competitors in the senior tournament may not enter more than 4 events.

  1. All matches shall be played in accordance with the laws of Table Tennis.
  2. All matches shall be decided by the best of five games up to 11 points.
  3. For each match the referee shall appoint an umpire whose decision on points of law shall be final. Players will be expected to assist with umpiring.
  4. In all events determined by age, the contestant's age on 31st December 2009 will confirm eligibility.
  5. No timeouts will be permitted.
  6. Where the first round is decided by groups, one or two players will progress depending on entries.
  7. Players may not enter more than four events on any one day.

Closing date for entries is Sunday 4th April 2010 for the senior events
and Sunday 11th April 2010 for the junior events.
Late entries will not be accepted
